What this is

After completing the regular workshops, you’re invited to join the studio as a member.


These are self‑directed sessions where you can refine skills, develop your style, and work on personal projects.

£25 per 2 hours

All materials and firing included

Pen-y-Bont Ceramics offers pottery studio membership at Waterside Mill, Macclesfield SK11 7HG. Membership gives you a regular two-hour slot on the wheel each week in a small, welcoming community of makers. Self-directed sessions with Emma present throughout — ideal for potters who want consistent wheel access, creative freedom and the support of an experienced teacher when they need it. Easily reached from Manchester, Stockport, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Congleton and the Peak District. All sessions run by Emma, a Cambridge-trained former secondary school teacher with several years teaching experience and 125+ five-star Google reviews.
